Blog quest Quotes

Quotes in the book

"If I below the conch and they don't come back the we've had it. We shan't keep the fire going. Will be like animals. We'll never be rescued."

This shows how much the conch means, and what it represents to some of the boys also, if they don't have the conch anymore there won't be any more order. they were saying that they should not keep the fire going if they don't below the conch anymore because we have no order there will be no hope of being rescued. Ralph thinks that they will turn in to animals if they don't blow the conch anymore and it shows how Ralph is afraid that everybody will go wild and not listen to him anymore.

"If you don't blow, we'll soon and be animals anyway.

Ralph is waking up to the reality that things are not going to be good on the island much longer and not everybody is going to go against each other.

Blog quest Interview

Interview with Jack:

Jake: Hey Jack and welcome to the show. We really want to find out about what happened on the island and what you personally thought.

Jack: Yes, whatever. I wish I was still on the island cause then I could brutally kill pigs and hurt them.

Jake: Ok. So, what did you think about Piggy?

Jack: He was a stupid little fat boy. All he wanted to do was stay in perfect order and have a ton of rules. Rules suck and there should never be rules anywhere!

Jake: I definitely know what you felt towards Piggy by reading your book and how much you disliked him. If you ever seriously talked to him, what questions would you have for him?

Jack: Why is he stupid and fat?

Jake: That is definitely a very serious and thoughtful question. So what did you think about Simon?

Jack: You know, he was alright. Definitely a free thinker he was. I couldn’t really tell which side he was on, if he was on Piggy’s side or the hunter’s side. I think he was on his own side.

Jake: So, why do you focus on hunting rather then being rescued?

Jack: At that time I didn’t think that we were ever going to be rescued and so I figured we needed meat and when I hunted it made me feel more powerful because I was hurting something smaller than me.

Jake: It seemed like the conch was a good idea because it made order. What did you think about the conch?

Jack: It would have been a good idea if Piggy didn’t enforce the conch the way he did. He over enforced it by whining to people and telling everyone they couldn’t talk unless they had the conch. This made me very angry and against the conch.

Jake: Thank you for coming on my talk show. Join us next week when I interview Piggy!

right now I am sitting at my desk listing to Peter Tosh classics and doing my home work witch is to wright this blog. Out side it is cloudy and cold but you can see the sun shine trying to break through the clouds. The weather can relate to me because, I am disappointed that I have to do home work but I am trying to use music to cheer up. Out side the clouds represent home work and the small bit of the sun light is the music.

Far down the beach jack and the hunters are malevolently chanting "kill the pig cut her throughout drain its blood." Personally I think that Jack is preposterous because, he cares about hunting over getting rescued. The pig yelped in a shrill tone as jack slit the innocent pigs throughout. I cannot tell if jack wants to be rescued or not, i think that he has a yearn for power witch powers he did not have at home. As piggy slowly walks down the beach towards the hunters. Jack runs towards him and grabs his glasses jack filled with a sensation of power walked back to the fire. Up the beach piggy whimpered. Incuriously he did not pitch a fit and instead he just walked back in to the jungle. All of the hunters had built a fire and jack was lighting it with piggy’s glasses some other hunters stabbed a stick through the pig and they started gyrating the pig over the fire rotisserie stile. Jack through the glasses aside  they landed on the sandy beach and cast a opalescent light on the sand. All of the boys kept on making implications to jack that the pig was fully cooked so finally they pulled the pig off the big secure and set it on banana tree leaves and devoured it. As the day turned in to night the happy hunters slowly fell asleep with full belies.

Wow what happened, I think to my self. I open my eyes looking up at the grated light through the vines. looking down and see that my legs are scratched and pallor. My thoughts were jumbled and I speculated what had just happened to me. I stood up and walked out of the jungle. awesome fruit I saw loads of them hanging from the tree ahead I am so hungery I could devour them all. Branch by branch I made my way to the fruits at the top of the tree. I picked one and eate it, it was delicious. While eating my fruits I heard a strident roar. I climbed down as fast as can, I hop on to the tall grasses below and run out of the jungle making a clamber. Threw the trees and vines I could see the white sandy beach and a small lagoon their was a fat boy holding a big shell and blowing on it. This is probably vain and stupid by the looks. There was a older boy with lighter hair that was trying to interpose on the fat boy.

I don’t know how I should end my blog leave me some suggestions.

Oh my gosh it's so hot out here. I can't believe all those boys and Ralph are spending their time making those huts when we could spend valuable daylight time hunting and killing pigs. All they're doing is festooning the huts with tendril's.It is so pointless. We need to catch the pigs, then slit their throats. I can't believe that the "supposed" leader Ralph is telling everybody that they should build huts instead of hunting. From what he's done so far he is a opressive leader. And Piggy that faty, he is worth less. It is inscrutable that all he cares about is that stupid conch that he flaunts to everybody about, every day. I don't even know why I'm spending my time watching these people build huts when I should be collecting barb's to make spears with so we can kill a pig. I was still bewildered by the fact that I saw a pig and I did not catch it and kill it. I cannot believe that I made a loud furtive cry when I stood on that barb. If I would've just kept quiet I could have caught that pig but I will soon catch him and eat it.
